Daramousque is situated just a short stroll away from the lovely village of Monclar-de-Quercy in the beautiful countryside of the Tarn-et-Garonne in South-West France - perfect for long holidays, short breaks or house-hunting trips all year round .
Set in attractive, landscaped grounds, Daramousque has two beautiful holiday properties - the Villa and the Cottage. Both properties have been very well equipped for self-catering holidays and guests will find the accommodation spacious and luxurious. There is also a large swimming pool and a children's play area in the grounds.
The approach to Daramousque is along a gravelled drive to a secure parking area. The moment you enter the grounds, you'll be struck by the space and the tranquillity. Then you'll notice the southerly views extending over miles of wonderful countryside, which are simply stunning.
The owners - Catherine & Jean-Claude - are always on hand to offer guests help and advice, but also endeavour to remain in the background so that guests are not unduly disturbed during their holiday. Catherine left the United States in 1983 and Jean-Claude is French. They have lived in France for most of their life but also spent time in China, England, Indonesia, and Texas for professional reasons. Globetrotters for many years, they fell in love with Daramousque and its region and decided to create a home here and offer their guests wonderful holidays in truly luxurious accommodation.
The Villa and Cottage were originally the barns belonging to the main house – a Toulousaine-style maison-de-maître. Located either side of the main house, the Villa and Cottage were professionally renovated to a very high standard by the previous owners and transformed into independent, self-contained holiday properties.
The Villa has three light and airy bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight people. It is adjacent to the swimming pool and has a fabulous covered terrace ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing in the shade. The views of the pool, the grounds and the surrounding countryside are wonderful. The Villa is rated 5 épis by Gîtes de France, their highest level of accreditation.
The Cottage has two large, comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. It has a shady covered terrace with glorious views across the grounds. The Cottage also has its own secluded sunbathing area where guests can enjoy sunshine all day long. The Cottage is rated 4 épis by Gîtes de France.
